Music creates bonds that last long after the final note. Here, my role as a guru goes far beyond the classroom, supporting students as they step into their own musical journeys.

I was so proud to inaugurate my student Bimba's new music store, RAGA. It is wonderful to see her musical journey flourish, from running a school with over 300 students to this new venture.

Lighting the lamp at the inauguration of the RAGA music store in Vidyaranyapura, Bangalore. Supporting my students as they build their own careers in music is incredibly fulfilling.

Presenting a gift at the opening of the music store. It's a joy to see the next generation take their passion for music and turn it into something that serves the wider community.

With fellow music teachers at an event hosted by KCMC. It was the first time we gathered as an organization to discuss important issues concerning music and dance examinations.

A beautiful tradition of honoring the guru. Here I am at my student Esha's arangetram, a proud moment for any teacher.

A portrait from the arangetram event where I was invited as the chief guest. It is a privilege to witness and be a part of such an important day in a young artist's life.

I was part of the 'Suvarna Sambrama Karnataka', a think tank program in Mysore. Contributing to the cultural and academic discourse of our state is an important part of my work.

About Beyond the Classroom: Community and Mentorship

My mentorship is a long-term commitment, not just a weekly class. Whether I am inaugurating a student's new music store in Vidyaranyapura or guiding them through their first Arangetram, I am there to help translate the discipline of Carnatic music into a sustainable career.

Learning music is a solitary pursuit for many, but it shouldn't have to be. I founded this community to ensure that my students have a support system that grows with them.

Building a Musical Ecosystem

I am deeply involved with organizations like the KCMC to bring teachers together. We meet to discuss standardizing exams and addressing the real challenges we face in music education today. When teachers connect, the quality of training for every student improves.

From Student to Professional

I take immense pride in watching my students take flight. When a student like Bimba opens a music store or Esha prepares for a debut performance, I view that as the ultimate success of our guru-shishya relationship. My goal is to ensure you possess not just the technical skills for the Veena, but the confidence to navigate the professional music world.

Mentorship Beyond the Syllabus

We cover the theory and the technicality, but we also discuss the practical reality of being a musician. From microphone techniques to handling stage nerves, I share the lessons I have learned over my years of performing. If you are looking for a place where your musical passion is nurtured into a professional path, you will find that environment here.

I have always believed that music education thrives in a community. I am proud to walk alongside my students, from their very first Sarali Varisai to the moment they launch their own stages and schools here in Bangalore.
