A party dress needs to survive hours of playtime, not just look good for photos. That is why I line every gown with soft cotton mulmul, ensuring that even with heavy satin or tulle layers, your little one stays itch-free and comfortable enough to run, jump, and celebrate without any fuss.
When you choose a dress for a big day, comfort is just as important as the style. Over the last thirty years of designing in Mumbai, I have learned that a child will only enjoy her party if she feels at ease in her outfit.
Quality in Construction
I build volume and shape into my dresses using thoughtful layering, not heavy wire cages that restrict movement. For our signature party wear, we use a three-layer skirt construction: an outer decorative layer, a supportive mid-layer, and a soft, breathable cotton lining against the skin. This keeps the dress voluminous for photos while maintaining the comfort needed for a long day of play.
Customization and Fit
Every girl has a unique silhouette and personality. I invite you to my Dadar West studio where we can select fabrics together, from vibrant Japanese satins to airy tulle. Whether you are looking for a classic A-line dress, a dramatic ballgown with hand-placed beadwork, or something special like a matching sister set, I work with you to finalize every detail—from the neckline to the sleeve length.
I also include internal margins in my custom work, so the dress remains a practical part of her wardrobe even as she grows.
