Why Dry Prep Matters

You might notice I use an E-file (electric drill) for what I call a 'Dry Manicure.' I avoid soaking your nails in water before applying gel. Why? Because nails are porous like a sponge. If they soak up water, they expand, and when they dry, they contract. This causes your gel polish to lift or chip within days. By using professional E-file techniques, I ensure a clean, dry surface so your color stays put for weeks.

The 'Green' Myth

If you see a green or yellow stain, do not panic. It is technically called Pseudomonas, but it is just a bacterial stain caused by trapped moisture. It happens if you keep your extensions on for 6 or 8 weeks. Getting a fresh set or a removal every 4-5 weeks completely prevents this.

Quick Maintenance Tips

• Cuticle Oil is Key: Apply it daily. It keeps the skin around your nail hydrated and prevents hangnails.
• Don't Use Nails as Tools: Opening soda cans or peeling stickers will crack your extensions. Use your finger pads instead.
• Listen to Your Tech: If I suggest a shorter length for your lifestyle, it is because I want your natural nails to stay strong while you flaunt your new look.
