Stop just giving commands and start communicating. My certification program isn't about rote learning; it's about mastering canine psychology and earning the respect of the pack.

Do you relate to these common dog problems? My course teaches you the root cause of these issues and gives you the tools to solve them, whether for your own dog or for your future clients.

On Guru Purnima, I am reminded that while I guide my students, the dogs are the greatest teachers. This image captures the spirit of learning and respect that defines our training sessions.

I am proud to see more women building careers in dog training. Here is one of our certified trainers, Bhuvana, with her certificate of completion. We celebrate the dedication of all our female trainers.

A glimpse into our behavioral training center. Here, a student practices leash-walking and "sit" commands with Bhairawa the Rottweiler, building focus and handler control.

Our February batch of students and their dogs, Leo and Luck, working on fundamental obedience. Each batch gets focused attention to master these essential skills.

A look at our January batch during an obedience training session. Repetition and clear communication are key to building a reliable response from any dog.

A Teacher's Day message from one of my students. It is my greatest reward to see them grow and aspire to become leaders in the field of canine behavior.

About this collection

You won't find scripted obedience lessons here. In our Kengeri facility, we operate on real, unpredictable dog behavior. You will be working with high-drive breeds and real aggression cases under my direct supervision, because you cannot learn pack management by sitting behind a computer screen.

Becoming a professional dog trainer is not about learning a few hand signals to make a dog sit. It is about understanding the 'why' behind every bark, jump, or pull on the leash. My curriculum is built on 'Shwana Manovaitajnya', the study of the canine mind. We start with the foundation: why a dog displays fear, how they perceive pack hierarchy, and why 'respect' (maryade) is the only currency that matters in training.

The Training Modules

  • Level 1 (Theory): Before you touch a leash, you must understand biology, history, and psychology. We cover canine evolution and the root causes of anxiety and aggression. This is the intellectual groundwork.
  • Level 2 (Practical Obedience): This happens at our Bangalore field training center. You will handle real dogs—Labs, Shepherds, and others—mastering commands like 'Heel', 'Stay', and 'Recall'. You will also learn to manage clients, because teaching the owner is often harder than training the dog.
  • Level 3 (Advanced K9): For those aiming for high-intensity work like protection, scent detection, or police-style tracking. We focus on high-drive working lines and tactical obedience.

Why This Matters

I have trained with police K9 squads and worked as a consultant, but my greatest pride is seeing students start their own kennels. You are not learning a trade; you are taking on a responsibility. We run small, focused batches so I can personally guide your technique. If you are looking for a shortcut or a 'quick fix' certification, this is not the place for you. If you are ready to put in the work to become a leader for both dogs and humans, I am ready to teach you.

I am Dr. Amrut. I don’t train dogs to satisfy egos; I teach humans to lead by understanding the dog’s mind. If you are serious about changing careers and actually helping dogs rather than just managing them, we have a lot of work to do.
