I don’t just teach “sit” and “stay”. I help you understand yaake (why) a dog acts the way it does. Fear, not aggression, is often the root. The main thing I follow is maryade (respect) - earn the dog's trust, don’t just command it. If you want to be a real dog psychologist, this is where you start.
What You’ll Learn
- Canine psychology certification: No half-baked theories, just practical knowledge and real reasons behind dog behavior.
- Hands-on dog trainer program: You’ll be training with actual dogs at our Bangalore facility. Online theory is there, but the real stuff happens face-to-face.
- Pack management: Handling groups of dogs safely and smoothly, not just one-on-one.
- Advanced modules: From basic obedience all the way to detection and protection work.
The Experience
I guide you, but you do the work. My background with police K9 squads and speaking at TEDx is there to help, but it’s your journey. We run small batches for personal focus.
Finish the course and you’ll get a recognized certificate that proves you know your stuff. You’ll finally be able to answer, “Nanna naayi yaake nanna maatu kelalla?” (Why doesn’t my dog listen to me?) and actually fix it.

My Story
They call me Dr. Amrut, Dogguru. PhD and all that, but honestly, dogs are my real teachers. I’ve trained with police squads, forest trackers, even done BBC stuff, but the real joy? Watching owners change along with their dogs. People used to think I’d just fix their dog and return it. Nimma driver diesel haakiskondu bandre nimma car odisokke baralla (If your driver fills diesel, you won’t learn to drive). I teach you to talk to your dog, not just make it obey me.
