Board & Train: Real-World Results for Your Dog

Training isn't a five-day course—it's a lifestyle. I don't just board your dog; I work on their obedience and behavioral foundations in a real, cage-free home setting.

A successful walk is a calm one. Here's Luna the Cane Corso and her owner practicing loose-leash walking on a busy sidewalk. We worked on building her confidence and reducing pulling, making walks enjoyable for everyone.

The 'stay' command is about impulse control and trust, not just obedience. With Lyla, a 6-year-old Golden Retriever, we practiced distance and duration on this open terrace, proving that it's never too late to learn new skills.

Bringing a new puppy home can be overwhelming. This video shows the key first steps I guide owners through, including how to properly greet a puppy to build trust, and how to introduce the leash and collar in a positive way.

This is what a structured walk looks like. It's not just about potty breaks; it's a training opportunity. We incorporate sniffing, engagement, and obedience commands to make the walk mentally stimulating and reinforce good behavior.

Toffy the Shih Tzu was a very fussy eater. By using my dog Duggu as a model, Toffy learned through observation that eating her kibble can be a positive experience. Sometimes, dogs are the best teachers for other dogs.

The 'place' command gives a dog a designated spot to relax. Here, Toffy the Shih Tzu demonstrates her solid 'place' training, showing how even small dogs benefit from structure and clear boundaries within the home.

Muzzle training is a critical life skill, not a punishment. I'm conditioning Shadow to see the muzzle as a positive tool, which is invaluable for vet visits, grooming, and ensuring safety in unpredictable situations.

About this collection

If you are sending your dog to me, understand that this is not a kennel or a holiday resort. My Board & Train program is immersive work. Whether it is crate training for upcoming travel or fixing leash-pulling, your dog will be living in my home as part of my pack. But here is the reality: the success of this program depends entirely on what you do when they return. I teach the dog, but I also have to teach you.

The Reality of Board & Train

Most behavioral issues—leash pulling, reactivity, or fussy eating—stem from a lack of clear communication between dog and human. In my Board & Train program, I bring your dog into my home, not a cage. They live on my rugs, use my furniture, and exist alongside my GSD, Duggu.

Why This Approach Works

By removing the dog from their habitual environment, we break the cycle of bad habits. We work on specific goals: crate conditioning for flights, calm leash manners in the neighborhood, and building neutrality around other dogs. I use my own dogs to model calm behavior; it is observational learning at its best. If your dog has a habit of lunging or ignoring commands, we address the root cause, not just the symptom.

The 'After-Care' Reality

I am very clear about this: I do not provide magic pills. At the end of the stay, I conduct a mandatory handover session. I need you to understand the commands, the timing, and the daily routine. If you go home and let the dog pull on the leash again, the training will vanish in a week. Training is a lifetime routine, not a five-day course. If you are ready to put in the work alongside your dog, let’s talk.
