Experience joyful, messy play sessions and upcycled art projects designed to nurture your child's curiosity while fostering a deep parent-toddler bond.

Our play space includes equipment like this climbing triangle and magnetic tiles that encourage open-ended, child-led play. These activities are crucial for developing gross motor skills, problem-solving abilities, and confidence.

What sets my program apart is the focus on purposeful engagement that nurtures every aspect of a child's development. We integrate literature, sensory experiences, and art to create a rich learning environment filled with joy and connection.

Children work together on a large-scale art project, creating a beach scene. Collaborative art teaches teamwork and communication, as they negotiate space and share materials to achieve a common goal.

We explore all kinds of art techniques, like bubble wrap printing and leaf printing. Using unconventional tools for painting encourages creativity and shows children that art can be made with anything.

This nature pizza activity, using flowers and leaves as toppings on a mud base, is a wonderful sensory and imaginative play experience. It connects children with nature in a creative and playful way.

A child explores the texture of colored pasta, a fantastic fine motor and sensory activity. The simple act of scooping and pouring is deeply engaging for toddlers and helps develop hand-eye coordination.

We used play-doh and mud clay to create these adorable ladybugs during our insect week. Working with malleable materials like clay is excellent for strengthening hand muscles.

Here we crafted dragonflies using materials from a coconut tree and also by using colorful dyed rice. This shows how we can explore a single theme using both natural and prepared art materials.

About Our Play Space & Additional Work

At our JP Nagar center, the floor is for playing, not for worrying about stains. I set up every station—from oobleck and colored rice to mud clay and messy painting setups—so you can skip the preparation and the cleanup. We keep our batches limited to 8–15 children, ensuring a calm, supportive environment where you and your child can really focus on each other rather than navigating a crowded, chaotic room.

A Space Designed for Growth

Every corner of my workshop space is built around the idea that children learn best when they are free to explore with all their senses. Whether we are painting with bubble wrap, stamping with leaves, or squishing homemade oobleck, the goal is always the same: sensory integration and developmental growth.

Why We Love Messy Play

I often hear parents worry about the cleanup, which is why I handle that part entirely. Messy play is vital for toddlers—it helps them develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination in a way that structured tasks just cannot. When a child dips their hands into colored rice or learns to use a wooden sieve, they are building the cognitive and physical foundations they will use for years to come.

Sustainability at the Core

I believe in teaching children that art doesn't require expensive kits. We frequently transform everyday waste into creative tools. You will often see us using:

  • Nature finds: Leaves, flowers, and twigs for printing.
  • Recycled packaging: Egg trays, cardboard cartons, and coconut shells.
  • Kitchen staples: Pulses, flours, and safe, edible coloring bases.

Parent-Child Connection

These sessions are not drop-and-go. They are designed for you to get on the floor, observe your child’s discovery process, and bond through shared activities. Whether we are reading a story or working on a collaborative mural, the time you spend here is about slowing down and making memories.

Doe A Dear

Workshops at DoeADear center, JP Nagar, BengaluruStarts from 850 Per Child Per Session

I started Doe a Dear because I saw parents just like you wanting a space to slow down and really connect with their kids. My sessions aren't about creating perfect art; they are about giving your little one the freedom to touch, squeeze, and explore, while you handle the memories and I handle the cleanup.
