A few highlights from our summer play sessions. From exploring insects to creating colorful handprint art, it was a season of fun, learning, and making new friends.

A peek into our August sessions. We explored under the sea with a large floor puzzle, got our hands messy with paint, and enjoyed many other creative activities.

We love celebrating special moments with our families. Here, a little one proudly shows off his chocolate-themed art after enjoying his very first taste of chocolate on World Chocolate Day.

Happy faces on the International Day of Play. Our outdoor space is perfect for group activities and gives children the freedom to move, play, and interact with their friends.

A moment of intense focus and creativity. We provide a supportive environment where children feel comfortable and confident to express themselves through art.

Guided by a parent, this little artist is fully engaged in her painting. These shared moments of creativity are at the heart of what we do.

A collaborative art project in action. Children work together to create a beach scene, learning about teamwork and sharing as they place each piece.

A group of friends enjoying a moment of calm after a fun-filled session. Our classes provide wonderful opportunities for children to form their first friendships.

Children and parents gather around a large-scale art project. These group activities create a wonderful sense of community and shared accomplishment.

This sensory tray with different compartments is perfect for a group of children to explore together. It encourages sharing, communication, and collaborative play.

About Our Playful Community

While many of our activities focus on individual fine motor skills, this cluster highlights the vital social aspect of our program. In these sessions, you will observe how we use collaborative tasks—like group mural painting or shared sensory bins—to help children naturally practice taking turns, sharing tools, and communicating with peers. It is often the first time little ones realize that playing alongside others is just as rewarding as playing alone.

Why Social Play Matters

Childhood development is as much about social confidence as it is about cognitive growth. In our mixed-age environment, we intentionally create moments for interaction. Whether it is asking a friend for a scoop at the sensory bin or watching a peer master a tricky climbing move, children learn by observing and participating in our small groups of 8 to 12.

The Parent Connection

These classes are not just for the children. We know that parenting can be isolating. Our sessions offer a comfortable, judgment-free space in JP Nagar where you can meet other parents, share experiences, and find a support system. It is about building a community where you can relax while your child engages in meaningful play.

Our Philosophy

We prioritize low-stress, high-engagement environments. By removing the pressure to perform or be perfect, we allow children to follow their own curiosity. When children feel safe and supported by their parents and their community, they are more willing to explore new textures, attempt new crafts, and embrace challenges.

If you are looking for a space where your child can build social resilience and you can find a village, we invite you to join one of our upcoming weekend or weekday sessions.

I founded Doe a Dear to create a space where parents could stop, breathe, and truly be present with their children. We are not just about lessons; we are building a village where you can find support while your little one makes their first friends.
