Experience dedicated sensory play and creative art sessions designed for parent-child bonding, without any of the cleanup stress.

We believe play is the most important work of childhood, and it's even more magical when you join in. This image captures the essence of our classes: a family completely absorbed in a creative project together, making not just art, but memories.

This is the look of pure, uninhibited joy. Our sensory play sessions encourage children to dive in, explore textures, and learn through touch. We handle all the setup and cleanup, so you and your child can focus on the wonderful, messy experience.

We love bringing stories to life, and we were honored to host celebrated author Ashok Rajagopalan for a reading of his book, "Gajapati Kulapati." It was a magical session where children could hear the story from the creator himself, fostering a deep love for literature.

Learning happens naturally when children are curious. Here, our little explorers are engaged with a multi-sensory tray, sorting colorful materials. This kind of play is fantastic for developing fine motor skills, color recognition, and social skills like sharing.

We show children that you don't need fancy supplies to create something beautiful. This vibrant rainbow was made entirely from old Amazon cartons, teaching a valuable lesson about recycling, resourcefulness, and seeing the potential in everyday objects.

A feast for the senses. We use a variety of safe, tactile materials like colored pasta to stimulate a child's curiosity. Activities like this help develop pre-math skills like sorting and counting, all while having a wonderful time.

Our classes are a community. We create a warm, welcoming space where parents and children can connect, learn, and create alongside other families. These shared experiences build confidence and foster a sense of belonging for both you and your little one.

We bridge the gap between stories and the real world. After reading a book like "Why do we need bees?", we dive into a themed sensory activity, like this honey-jelly sensory bin, to make learning a tangible and memorable experience.

About Featured

When I started Doe a Dear, I knew parents didn't need another thing to clean up at home. That is why every sensory station, from the oobleck trays to the muddy art zones, is designed so you can focus entirely on your child’s discovery. You simply walk in, get messy together, and walk out. My team handles every bit of the post-play scrub-down, so the only thing you take home is the memory and the craft your little one made.

Our classes go far beyond simple playtime. Every session is built on the philosophy of holistic development, focusing on sensory integration and fine motor skill improvement. By engaging with materials like colored rice, water, and homemade slime, children aged 6 months to 5 years naturally develop their coordination and tactile awareness in a safe, judgment-free environment.

Sustainability is woven into our curriculum. We believe that creativity does not require expensive supplies, so we often transform cardboard boxes, egg cartons, and recycled paper into works of art. This teaches children resourcefulness and helps them appreciate the potential in everyday objects.

Each workshop includes:

  • Structured Sensory Play: A rotation of stations designed to stimulate curiosity.
  • Eco-Crafts: Guided art projects using recycled materials.
  • Circle Time: Interactive storytelling and movement to build social confidence.

We limit our group sizes to 8-12 children, ensuring that every family receives personal attention. Whether you join us for a single weekend drop-in or commit to a monthly pass, the goal remains the same: providing a space where your child feels free to explore and you feel supported in your parenting journey. We invite you to join us at our JP Nagar center for a session where the mess is our responsibility, and the discovery is yours.

I started Doe a Dear because I realized parents crave a space to just breathe and play alongside their little ones without the chaos of a messy house. My goal is to foster deep bonds through tactile experiences, whether that is painting with spaghetti or exploring nature. I am here to build a community where you feel supported and your child feels free to explore.
