About Behind the Decks
When I am behind the decks, it is about more than just hitting play. I bring a professional Pioneer controller and a custom library to handle both audio and live visual mixing. I sync video loops and motion graphics to the beat of the music in real-time, effectively turning your venue's existing screens into a synchronized light show.
My Setup and Technique
I treat every gig as a live performance. My process involves more than standing behind a laptop. I monitor the room, mix tracks live to build tension, and use the microphone to interact with the crowd at the right moments. My approach relies on reading the room to switch genres—from Bollywood and Punjabi hits to Techno or commercial charts—to ensure the dance floor stays packed.
The VJ Experience
Music is only half the show. I offer live video mixing, which means I project music videos, custom graphics, or event logos that pulse with the rhythm of the track. If your venue has LED walls, projectors, or TV screens, I connect my console via HDMI to create a full sensory setup. It transforms the environment and gives your guests something to engage with even when they are not on the dance floor.
How We Coordinate
Before the event, we will discuss your "Must Play" and "Do Not Play" lists. I arrive at least 60 minutes early to test the sound connections and visual output. I bring my own DJ console, but I rely on the venue to provide the PA system and speakers. My goal is to make the tech side invisible so you can focus on the party.
