About Behind the Decks
People think being a DJ is just about picking songs, but it is actually about reading the energy of the room in real-time. When I am behind the decks, I am watching every micro-reaction on the floor, adjusting my EQ, and dropping custom edits like my 'Heeriye x Gorah' mix to shift the energy instantly. I bring my own gear and my sound technician to every gig, ensuring the technical setup matches the intensity of the performance so you never deal with dead air or sloppy transitions.
My approach to a set isn't a static playlist. It is a live performance. When you see me behind the decks, you are seeing a process built around three core pillars: reading the room, technical precision, and genre fluidity.
The 'Main Stage' Philosophy
I treat every event, whether a private house party or a destination wedding, like a festival stage. My signature sound blends the familiarity of Bollywood and Punjabi hits with the deep rhythm of Afro House and EDM. I spend hours in the studio producing my own mashups and edits—like 'Nadaan Parindey x Rumble'—because I want your event to have a sonic identity that guests cannot hear anywhere else.
Technical Standards
- Hardware: I perform on industry-standard Pioneer DJ setups. If a venue does not have the necessary specs, I bring my own controller and interface to guarantee flawless execution.
- Sound Check: I arrive at the venue 60 minutes before the start time. This is non-negotiable. It allows me to test the house PA, tune the levels, and troubleshoot potential feedback issues before the first guest walks in.
- Interaction: I am not hiding behind the laptop. I use the mic to hype the crowd, handle countdowns, and build the tension before the bass drops.
