Ever wonder what happens before the bass drops? From pre-show focus to candid moments off the mic, this is a look into my world behind the DJ console.

Having some fun and jumping on a popular reel trend, but doing it in my own style. It all leads back to the console.

A moment of reflection on my birthday. Feeling grateful, wiser, and always ready to take on the world from behind the decks.

A stylized shot of me at a themed party, rocking a cowboy hat and enjoying the vibe. It's all about the attitude.

A fun, candid moment where I'm getting ready to switch up the vibe and drop some Punjabi tracks for the crowd.

About Behind the Scenes

People often only see the set, but the real work happens in the hours before. Whether it is testing a new Punjabi-Afro house fusion or getting the audio levels perfect for a venue in Delhi, I stay locked in. It is not just about turning knobs; it is about ensuring that the transition from 90s Bollywood to heavy techno is seamless and the crowd never loses their pulse.

The Prep and the Grind

My job starts long before I reach the console. Every gig requires a different approach. For a Sangeet, I am digging through 90s nostalgia and the latest Punjabi hits. For a club night, it is all about finding that groove in the techno universe. I spend hours curating playlists that allow me to pivot when I see the energy shifting. When you see me in these shots, I am usually in the zone, planning the next beat drop or testing the mic to make sure I can hype the crowd properly.

Travel and Setup

From local gigs in Delhi to international stages in Switzerland or Dubai, the gear changes, but the goal stays the same. I have learned to adapt quickly to different setups, whether it is a festival-grade line array system or an intimate boiler room configuration. Getting the tech requirements right is crucial because I do not use pre-recorded sets. Everything is mixed live, which means I need the right monitors and console responsiveness to pull off those quick genre switches.

The Human Side

When I am not behind the decks, I am training or spending time with family. Staying sharp in the gym helps me keep the energy up for those four-hour solo sets. My wife is my anchor, keeping me grounded. This job is demanding, but seeing a family lose themselves on the dance floor makes the travel, the late nights, and the technical prep worth every second. If you want a DJ who lives for the music and takes the craft seriously, let’s talk.

I'm Rahul. I have spent over a decade obsessed with the sound, whether I am rocking a massive festival or a private wedding in Delhi. If I am not mixing or hitting the gym, I am probably hunting for the next beat that will make a party go wild.
