This exhibition documents nine years of building a community from the ground up. Take a look at the journey, from our original DJ booth to the archives that define our sound.

The setup for our 9-year audio-visual exhibition at Method gallery in Delhi. We created an immersive experience with listening stations and visual archives to tell the story of Boxout.fm.

A guest interacts with a piece at the exhibition, which featured photos and physical media from our nine-year history. It's about making our digital archive a tangible experience.

A visitor explores an interactive screen displaying the extensive artist list from Boxout Wednesdays. This highlights the sheer volume and diversity of talent we've hosted over the years.

The DJ setup at the exhibition, complete with framed records from our label. The exhibition itself became a live music venue, with DJ sets scheduled throughout its run.

The original, custom-made Boxout.fm DJ booth, on display as a piece of our history. This booth has been the centerpiece of our studio and countless events since 2017.

The top of the DJ booth, covered in stickers from artists and friends who have passed through our doors. It's a physical record of our community and journey.

The side of the booth, showing years of tags, stickers, and memories. This object tells the story of our community.

About Building The Scene: The Boxout.fm Story

The stickers on this booth tell more stories than any brochure ever could. We put this archive together at Method gallery to show that Boxout.fm is not just a platform, it is nine years of building a community from the ground up. If you are looking to build a space that feels real and has actual history, this is how we do it.

When I talk about building the scene, I am talking about creating something with longevity. The photos you see here are from our nine year audio-visual exhibition at Method Delhi. We didn't want to just play music, we wanted to show the physical history of it.

From the original wooden DJ booth we built in 2017—now covered in stickers and tags from artists across the globe—to the listening stations where visitors explore our archives, this is about making music tangible. It is about proving that independent, non-commercial music has a home in Delhi.

This is the same approach I bring to any project. Whether you are running a brand launch that needs a unique sonic identity or a festival that requires real community connection, I focus on the details that matter.

Why this approach works for your event:

  • Authentic Identity: We move away from the Top 40 script. We find the sound that fits your specific brand or venue culture.
  • Community Focus: My events are designed to be interactive, not just a stage and a performer.
  • Real Archives: We bring the same dedication to your project that we put into our exhibitions, ensuring every element has a story behind it.

I am not here to just show up and spin. I am here to help you build a moment that sticks.

I started Boxout.fm to bridge the gap between global underground sounds and Delhi's community. When I am not digging for vinyl or running festivals, I am helping brands and venues build a real sonic identity, one that does not follow the standard Top 40 script.
