About DJ & MC Services
I’m all about building a vibe that’s real, not just running through the same old playlists. For me, it’s “no clique, just play” - I want everyone to feel welcome on the dancefloor, whether you’re into slow, weird warm-ups or you want that peak-time energy.
What I Play
My roots are in Dancehall, Reggae, Dub, Hip Hop, and Dubstep, but honestly, I’ll take you everywhere - Jazz, Funk, Soul, Grime, Jungle, Global Bass, Club Edits. I love connecting genres and eras, dropping exclusive dubplates and fresh blends every time. If you’re after a proper Reggae DJ set or something totally unexpected, I’ve got you.
How I Roll
- Club and festival DJ sets: High-energy, crowd-focused, always reading the room. I’ve played everywhere from Boiler Room to underground parties.
- Private & brand events: I’ll curate the music to fit your vibe, whether it’s an art show, a wedding, or a brand launch. Custom event music curation is my thing.
- Vinyl DJ experience: For the analog heads, I’ll spin all-vinyl sets - pura analogwala (totally analog), warm sound, real DJing.
More Than Just DJing
I’m also an MC, shaped by sound system culture. If you want someone to hype the crowd, host, or just keep the energy up, I can jump on the mic too. Sometimes I MC, sometimes I just DJ - we’ll figure out what works for your event.
Each one reach one. Salam salam.

My Story
I’m DJ Mocity - born in Delhi, grew up between Sharjah and with roots going back to Iraq. Football games, chaos, family, all mixed in. Saw Iraq play in Amman as a kid, then again in Abu Dhabi after 28 years - wild! Boxout.fm started as a UAE idea, shaped by Europe, landed in India. Music, running, city traffic, old stadiums, everything’s looping back. Feels like I’m always coming home, one way or another.
My Work
What I Do - DJ, MC, and music curator. I throw parties, vinyl pop-up events, and run festivals like Jazz Weekender.
My Sound - Global bass music, raw and loud. No rinse-repeat. Slow warm-up DJ sessions with fresh, weird, and wonderful tunes.
Projects - Founder of Boxout.fm, run 'Like Glue' dancehall party nights and 'City Goes Wax' vinyl sessions. All about real community, not just gigs.
What To Expect - On the mic or decks, I bring heat. Crowd gets tunes they've never heard. Each one reach one, always.
