I don't just hit play. I run the show using Pioneer CDJ 2000 NXS2 gear to keep the flow seamless, reading the room to switch from deep Afro beats to commercial Bollywood bangers in real time. If the crowd needs a lift or a quick shoutout, I am on the mic making sure everyone is part of the set.
Whether it is a chill rooftop sundowner in Thane or a packed Saturday night in Mumbai, the setup needs to hit different. I specialize in reading the crowd, not just playing a pre-mixed list. I bring my own professional Pioneer console to ensure high-quality audio output because bad sound kills the energy faster than a bad song.
I plan the soundscape to fit the time and place. For sundowners, expect a mix of Tech House and Afro beats that matches the sunset vibes. When the sun goes down and the club lights come on, we switch to high-energy Bollywood, Punjabi, and commercial hits that get the whole room dancing.
