About Music Festivals & Holi Parties
Festivals are about more than just playing music. They are about managing the crowd and the visuals at scale. When I run a festival set, I focus on the transition timing—those micro-seconds where the beat drops and the LED wall visuals shift—to ensure the energy level does not dip for a single second. It is a technical setup that requires precision, and that is exactly what I bring to the booth.
Playing for a festival crowd requires a different mindset than a club gig. You are managing thousands of people, and your sound has to reach everyone from the front row to the back of the grounds.
The VDJ Advantage
I do not just play audio. I am a VDJ, which means my sets are synced with custom motion graphics on large LED screens. In a festival or Holi party setting, this visual element is crucial. It acts as an anchor for the crowd, keeping them locked in even when they are miles away from the stage.
My Technical Setup
To ensure there is zero downtime or audio lag, I only use industry-standard hardware. I typically run my sets on Pioneer CDJ-3000s or 2000NXS2 mixers. My laptop handles the heavy lifting with Serato Video or Rekordbox Video for seamless real-time visual mixing.

For festival-sized events, I require a professional-grade PA system that matches the size of your venue, along with a functional LED video wall for my visuals. I handle the signal routing and the performance, but the foundation needs to be solid to support the bass and the clarity of the mix. Whether you are hosting a Holi color party in Juhu or a massive New Year’s outdoor countdown, my goal is to keep the energy 'sabke haath upar' until the sun comes up.
