High Energy Music Festival Performances
Massive crowds need the right kind of energy. I focus on reading the sea of people and delivering the beats that keep thousands moving in sync.

About this collection
Festival crowds move differently than club patrons. For me, it's about building a massive drop that thousands of people react to simultaneously. I keep the mix tight, switching from high-bpm tech to singalong Bollywood tracks to ensure the energy never dips during long festival sets.
Handling the Big Stage
When you’re playing for thousands, technical reliability is just as important as the song selection. I use a professional Pioneer XDJ or DDJ console setup, which handles outdoor conditions and long sets without a glitch. My festival sound usually leans into high-energy Afrohouse and driving Tech House, but I always mix in those massive Bollywood bangers that get the whole crowd shouting.
Why the Vibe Matters
At events like the Holi Invasion at Magique or the Xenon Music Festival, the crowd isn't just listening; they are part of the performance. I monitor the energy levels constantly. If I see the crowd drifting, I shift gears instantly—dropping a classic pop anthem or a heavy Bolly-tech remix to pull them back in.
Planning Your Festival Lineup
If you are organizing a large-scale event, my setup requires a 60-minute sound check before the gates open. I coordinate directly with your audio vendor to ensure the PA system is tuned for the specific frequencies of my tracks. Whether it is a daytime festival or a late-night show, the goal is the same: to keep the floor packed and the energy high from the first track to the last.
DJ MadMen
I’m Suraj, known to the crowd as DJ MadMen. I started by getting my mixes on the radio and now I’m hitting stages for thousands of people. I bring that same massive festival energy to every event I touch.
