How I Build the Vibe
Managing a crowd is about reading the room. When I am at a spot like Hungry Hippie, I pay attention to who is on the dance floor. If people are tired, I might switch to a familiar singalong anthem. If they are hyper, I drop a high-tempo Punjabi bass track. This constant loop of reading and responding is why the energy stays high.

I play a mix of Bollywood commercial, Punjabi bhangra, and club hits. I have been doing this since 2000, so I have seen what works. It is not just about the speakers or the console, although I use Pioneer gear for that crisp sound. It is about the connection.
