About The Crowd: Good Times & Memories
I don't just stand behind the decks. My approach is to read the room constantly, spotting exactly when the energy dips so I can hit them with a transition they don't see coming. Whether it's blending a retro Bollywood track into a heavy techno drop or shifting to a sing-along anthem, I’m focused on keeping that dancefloor packed and the vibe high.
How I Manage the Floor
When I play at spots like Toca, Social, or The Fixx, I’m not just there to play a pre-set list. I watch the crowd. If I see people holding back, I pivot. I switch into my signature Bolly Tech style, layering familiar vocals over hard-hitting beats to bridge the gap between commercial radio hits and proper club sound.
My sets are built for movement. If it’s a packed Friday night or a Sunday sundowner, I keep the tempo fluid. I often mix genres live, bringing in Punjabi anthems or Hip Hop, depending on who is standing in front of the console.
Why This Matters
A good DJ set feels like a conversation. You can see it in the pictures—people aren't just listening to the music, they are losing themselves in it. That level of engagement is what I aim for at every wedding, corporate event, or club gig I take on.
