Handling the Big Stage
When I am on stage at festivals like Zomaland or playing alongside artists like Talwiinder, my focus shifts to crowd control. It is about reading the energy of a massive open-air space where the audience is not right in front of the console like in a club. I rely on high-impact transitions and mashups that keep the momentum high, ensuring that even the people at the back feel the bass.
My Technical Approach
- Sound Coordination: I understand the difference between club PA systems and large-scale festival rigs. I work closely with sound engineers to ensure the EQ and output are crisp for stadium-sized setups.
- B2B Experience: I love performing back-to-back sets. Sharing the console with another DJ, like my recent sets with Amare, allows us to layer sounds and keep the energy diverse—switching between Hip-Hop, Punjabi, and commercial hits to keep the crowd guessing.
- Visual Integration: Festivals are visual experiences. I provide my own motion graphics and visual loops to sync with my sets, ensuring the LED walls look as sharp as the music sounds.
