About Behind the Decks
I don't just play music, I watch the floor. When you see me behind the decks, whether it’s at a packed Andheri resto-bar or a private event, I am actively mixing, adjusting EQ levels, and monitoring the crowd's energy. You aren't hiring a pre-recorded playlist; you’re hiring someone who knows how to control the room. I use professional Pioneer CDJ consoles because, at the end of the day, if the bass isn't hitting right, the party loses its spark.
Why The Gear Matters
It’s not just about speakers. I carry my own USBs and rely on industry-standard Pioneer CDJ 3000 and 2000NXS2 setups. This isn't vanity. It’s precision. Using this gear allows me to switch from a 90s Bollywood classic to a heavy Punjabi beat without a split-second gap. Seamless transitions are how you keep a dance floor packed for hours.
The Bolly-Fusion Approach
My signature sound is what I call Bolly-Fusion. It’s the high-energy remix culture that defines Mumbai nightlife. I blend heavy-hitting club beats with the lyrics everyone knows and loves. Whether it's a corporate event or a small house party, I tailor the tracklist to the crowd’s demographic. I read the room and adjust the tempo accordingly, ensuring that Gen Z and the older crowd both find a reason to dance.
My Crowd Control Technique
I am not the type of DJ to hide in the corner checking my phone. I am on the mic, I am watching the floor, and I am reacting to you. If the energy dips during a warm-up set, I pivot immediately. If it's a high-octane NYE bash, I push the intensity. My goal is to keep the energy spike high from the first track to the last song.
