About Collaborations & Special Gigs
When I bring in guest artists or collaborate on stage, I focus entirely on the technical handover and timing. Whether it is syncing with a Dhol player for a wedding or performing a b2b set at a club, I always organize a pre-event soundcheck to make sure our energy levels are matched and the transition between us is seamless.
Collaborations are where I push my own limits. Bringing another artist into the mix—whether it is a rapper, a percussionist, or another DJ—changes the dynamic of the room. It is not just about playing songs back-to-back. It is about understanding the other person's flow and finding where our styles intersect.
I have shared the stage with artists like DJ Suketu and performers from the Gully Gang. These are not just gigs. They are moments where we trade off beats and feed the crowd's energy. When I perform at venues like Dusk or Veza, I treat every collaboration as a production. I look at the technical rider, check the console compatibility, and coordinate the stage presence so we are not competing for the spotlight, but adding to the experience.
