About Desi Thursdays at BOHO
When I’m at the console for Desi Thursdays, I don’t just play tracks. I mix in live audio-visuals, syncing music videos and custom loops directly with the beat on the venue screens. It completely changes the energy of the room compared to a standard set, which is why the dance floor at BOHO stays packed even on a weeknight.
For over five years, my Thursday nights have been anchored at BOHO in Koramangala. The goal is simple: create a space where you can let loose and forget the workday.
My sets are a mix of high-BPM Bollywood remixes, Punjabi chart-toppers, and commercial hits that keep the crowd moving. I use a Pioneer setup and bring my own gear to ensure the sound quality hits right, but the real difference is the interaction. I’m on the mic throughout the night, hyping the crowd and managing the flow so the party stays tight.
I treat Desi Thursdays like a residency, not just a gig. That means I understand the BOHO layout and the crowd dynamics perfectly, shifting from lounge vibes early in the evening to full-blown club energy after 10 PM. If you are a regular, you know the drill; if you are new, come ready to dance.
