About Guest DJ Sets Across Bangalore
Booking a guest DJ is different from a standard residency because I am stepping into a space where I don't know the regulars. Whether I am playing at Farzi Cafe or Hydra, my focus is to read the room within the first ten minutes and calibrate my set to that specific crowd's energy, rather than running a pre-planned playlist.
When I am playing as a guest artist, my priority is adaptability. A crowd at a corporate party in UB City expects a different vibe compared to a late-night set at a Koramangala lounge, and I prepare my technical setup accordingly. I specialize in high-BPM Bollywood remixes and Punjabi chart-toppers that keep the floor moving, but I also integrate an audio-visual component.
I bring along a VDJ setup that syncs music videos and custom visuals with the beat on LED screens or projectors, which is a game-changer for engagement. It creates a multisensory experience that goes beyond just playing tracks.
