About The Social Takeover
Each Social outlet brings a different crowd, but the setup is always consistent. I use the venue's house console to sync my sets directly with the room's acoustics, meaning I don't just play tracks—I read the energy of the specific floor, whether it is the Thursday madness in Koramangala or a Saturday peak in Sarjapur.
Social is a special venue to play because every location—Koramangala, Sarjapur, Nagavara, or Bellandur—has a unique pulse. My sets here are not just about queuing songs; they are about understanding the venue's flow. I generally start with a mix of commercial hits to warm up the room, gradually pulling in heavier Punjabi basslines and high-tempo Bollywood remixes as the night progresses.
For these gigs, I utilize the venue's existing LED screen setups. When I say 'The Social Takeover,' it refers to my full Audio-Visual (VDJ) capability. I sync official music videos and custom visual loops to the beat, which turns a standard DJ set into a full sensory experience. If you have seen me at a 'Desi Thursday' or a weekend closer, you know the vibe. I do not just stay behind the console; I am on the mic, keeping the energy high, engaging with the crowd, and ensuring that by the time the set ends, the dance floor is still packed. Whether it is a busy Friday night or a Sunday closing session, the goal remains the same: good vibes only.
