About The Vibe Curator: Behind the Decks
People often ask why the dance floor feels different when I am spinning. It comes down to my studio prep. I do not just drop beats. I treat every set like a live production, layering custom BollyTech transitions and Afro House textures that you will not find in any standard playlist. If the room needs high energy, I build the sonic architecture to get them there.
My process is simple. I take the raw energy of Bollywood and mix it with the driving percussion of Afro House or the precision of Techno. I am not just a guy pressing play. I am looking at the room, reading the vibe, and deciding whether to push the BPM or drop into a deep, soulful groove.
The Badmaashi Approach
When I work on a mashup, I am looking for the 'badmaashi' or the mischief in the music. It is about taking a song everyone knows and flipping it into something that catches them off guard. Maybe it is a viral reel audio that needs a harder bassline, or a standard club track that needs a Bollywood hook to really land. I build these tracks to be exclusive, meaning when you book me, you are getting a sound that belongs only to your event.
From Studio to Stage
- Engineering: I do my own mastering. That means the tracks are balanced specifically for loud club systems, not just your phone speakers.
- VDJ Synergy: As a VDJ, I am linking the visuals to the audio cues. The lights and the screen content move with the beat.
- Flexibility: Whether it is a sangeet performance that needs specific cuts for dancers or a club night that requires a non-stop, high-octane set, I adjust the structure to fit the room.
