It is never just about hitting play. Being an open format DJ means reading the room and switching tracks mid-beat to keep the energy high. Whether it is a corporate gig or a wedding sangeet, I build my sets live so you get a mix of Bollywood, hip-hop, and Punjabi that actually gets people moving.
My journey did not happen overnight. I started back in 2009, tangled in cables and CDJs, learning the craft of beat-matching the hard way. That grind led me to the War of DJs at IIT Delhi in 2017, which was the moment I realized I could really connect with a crowd on a bigger stage. Today, I treat every gig as a fresh challenge. I do not just stand behind the console. I bring my own edits, meme-heavy visuals, and mashups that you will not hear anywhere else. I handle the audio-visual sync myself, so if the mood dips, I switch the visuals and the beat instantly to get the crowd back on their feet. It is that 'hila dia public ko' feeling that drives me. Whether you are hosting a high-energy club night or an intimate private party, my goal remains the same: I want your guests talking about the music long after the night ends.
