Two Decades of Sound
My journey began in Cochin before moving to Bangalore, where I became a mainstay at legendary spots like Fuga and Taika. I built my reputation by playing sets that kept dance floors packed until the early morning hours, often seeing crowds spilling into the walkways and staircases. That experience in high-pressure, high-energy clubs taught me the most important lesson of being a DJ: it is not about the track list, it is about the crowd.
My Approach to Music Curation
I focus on a multi-genre approach, primarily mixing Deep House, Melodic Techno, and Afro House with Hip Hop and RnB elements when the mood calls for it. My process involves:
- Vibe Check: I analyze the venue size, sound system capability, and crowd profile before the event.
- Dynamic Sets: I do not believe in pre-recorded mixes. I layer loops and acapellas live, using 3-4 deck mixing for B2B sets.
- Energy Management: I know when to build tension and when to drop the bass, ensuring the dance floor energy never dips.
