Nets are where the actual game is won. Whether it is correcting your stance, mastering leg-spin, or just getting the reps in, we focus on raw technique on both turf and dirt pitches.

A typical day of net practice at our indoor facility. We focus on creating a high-intensity environment where batsmen face a variety of bowling styles to sharpen their skills.

We build bowlers who aim to break spirits. This montage shows the aggression, speed, and discipline we instill in our young pacers and spinners during net sessions.

A montage showing one of our senior players, Harsh Salunkhe, transitioning from indoor net practice to outdoor matches. This is where potential is turned into performance.

From a wide view of the world to the focus on the wicket, this video highlights the intense concentration of our batsman Harsh Salunkhe during a practice session.

A look inside a busy group coaching session. Young players learn from each other while practicing batting, bowling, and fielding in a structured environment.

Specialized leg-spin drills on our outdoor pitch. We use cones and markers to help young spinners master their run-up, pivot, and release, ensuring a strong foundation for this difficult art.

Here I am working with a batsman on his technique. Correcting small details in the stance and swing can make a huge difference in a player's game.

Adjusting a player's grip is one of the first things we do. A correct grip is fundamental for control and power in both batting and bowling.

Demonstrating the correct batting stance to a young player. Balance and a steady head position are crucial for judging the ball and playing effective shots.

Working closely with a young bowler to refine his action. I am checking his arm position and wrist release to help him gain more control and speed.

About Training at the Nets: Batting & Bowling

We do not just watch you play; we break down your game. During your net sessions, I use sidearm ball throwers and video motion capture to fix your grip, stance, and release point. It is about building muscle memory, not just hitting the ball.

Training on Real Pitches

Most academies stick to indoor turf, but that is not how matches are won. At my academy in Chembur, we alternate between indoor AstroTurf and outdoor dirt pitches. This teaches you to adjust to unpredictable bounce and movement, just like you will face on a match day. If you can bat on our outdoor ground, you can bat anywhere.

Technical Correction

My coaching is hands-on. I look at your elbow position, your stride, and your wrist release. If your batting stance is shaky or your bowling action is leaking speed, we fix it on the spot.

  • Batting: We work on balance, head position, and shot selection.
  • Bowling: We use cones for line and length drills, especially for leg-spinners who need to master the pivot and flight.
  • Technology: We use video playback so you can see your mistakes. Watching your own action is the fastest way to learn.

The Mindset

Cricket is a mental game. I push you to be aggressive with your speed and discipline with your technique. Whether you are aiming for the Mumbai U-19 team or just want to improve your local club performance, the work happens here in the nets. No excuses, no shortcuts.

I started this academy after winning the IPL because I know what it takes to rise from a humble home. My job here is not to hold hands; it is to push you until you are match-ready. If you have the talent and the hunger, I will give you the roadmap to the state level.
