About this collection
When I draw a palace or a peacock, it is not just a sketch. I focus on the baariki, which is my word for fine detailing. This tiny shading and the sharp lines are what make the design stand out. You might think these heavy, dense designs take all day, but my technique is clean, quick, and comfortable for you.
The Art of Royal Motifs
These designs are about storytelling. When you choose themes like royal elephants, intricate palaces, or dancing peacocks, you are not just getting a pattern. You are wearing a piece of classic Indian heritage on your hands. I treat these as fine art, ensuring the symmetry is perfect and the shading is deep.
Why 'Baariki' Matters
The secret to a royal design is the density. I use thin, sharp lines to build the jaali (net) work and the outlines of the palace domes. This requires patience and steady hands. Because I use 100% natural, chemical-free henna, the colour payoff will be a deep, bold red that lasts, which is especially important for the fine details of a peacock’s feathers or the elephant’s trunk.
Customization for Your Event
Whether you are a bride wanting a full arm 'bharwa' design or you want these motifs for a festival like Teej or Karwa Chauth, I can adapt them. We can hide names or specific dates within the architecture of the palace design.
If you are worried about how a full-sleeve royal design will look or feel, I offer a free home demo across Bangalore. This way, you can see the scale of the work before we commit to the full event. My team and I are experienced in managing groups, so if you are planning a mehendi party where everyone wants a bit of royal flair, we can handle the volume without compromising on that signature fine art detail.
Dinesh Mehandi Arts
Namaskara, I’m Dinesh, but most people just call me Dinesh bhaiya. I treat every event like a family gathering, and for me, mehendi is a way to keep our culture alive. I don’t just apply henna, I create art that tells a story, whether it’s a royal elephant or a simple peacock.
