About Regal Sherwanis & Groomswear

We do not just hand over a garment and hope for the best. We begin with a consultation to discuss fabric choices, from heavy raw silk to breathable Italian poly-wool, and schedule a mandatory final trial. This session allows us to adjust shoulder fit and collar structure, ensuring the outfit sits perfectly for your wedding day.

At Dharam Ji, we believe that an outfit is only as good as its fit. Since 1978, we have been crafting groomswear that balances traditional aesthetics with modern requirements.

The Process

Every Sherwani begins with a conversation. We discuss your event—whether it is a day wedding or a grand evening ceremony—and select fabrics that suit the vibe. We work extensively with high-quality materials, including velvet, jacquard, and raw silk, often incorporating intricate Zardosi work or French knots to add depth to the piece.

Construction Details

Unlike mass-produced options, our process involves full canvas fusing. This provides the structure needed for a regal profile. For the Sherwani, we use inner quilting to maintain the shape, and we line our collars with velvet to prevent skin irritation from heavy embroidery. We also pay close attention to the smaller elements, such as custom-tied turbans (safas) and stoles, ensuring they match your ensemble perfectly.
