We are Meghkumar and Dhanraj Khona, a father-son team carrying on a 30-year legacy. For us, every event is personal. This business was a 'sapnu hatu' (a dream), and today, we are proud to host weddings for the children of the families we started with.

That specific 'Dhanraj' touch means we have already anticipated the stress points—parking flow, food counter bottlenecks, or last-minute theme tweaks—so you can actually stand on the stage and enjoy the music without checking your watch.
For three decades, our goal in Mulund has remained the same: to give families a place where they can celebrate without the running around. We started with a dream of a venue that felt personal, and today, that dream has grown into Kalidas Marriage Hall and Kalidas Open Ground.

- Space for every scale: If you need a royal, air-conditioned setting, our banquet hall accommodates up to 800 guests. For those grand outdoor celebrations, our open grounds allow for 2,000+ people with custom flooring and sound staging that handles concert-grade production.
- Pure Vegetarian Excellence: We take food seriously. Our catering covers everything from traditional Gujarati and Maharashtrian pangat meals to fusion counters serving Avocado Chaat, Sushi, and live pasta stations. Everything we serve is Pure Veg or Jain-friendly, crafted to delight your guests.
We have hosted events for parents, and now we are honored to host the weddings for their children. That generational trust is our biggest achievement. I am Meghkumar, and my son Dhanraj is my right hand. We started this in Mulund back in the nineties, and after thirty years, seeing families return with their own children to celebrate is the proudest feeling. We do not just host events; we treat every function like it is our own family's house.
