About Custom Bridal Portraits & Storytelling

Getting a portrait done is a collaborative process, so I always recommend sharing clear, high-resolution photos of the couple a few days before the event. This allows my team to map out the expressions and details properly. Keep in mind that portrait work is highly intricate and requires extra time—usually 6 to 8 hours—so we plan the seating and lighting well in advance to make sure you are comfortable throughout the application.

Designing Your Unique Story

When you choose a portrait package, we are doing more than just applying henna. We are telling a story. Whether you want your proposal scene, a depiction of your wedding venue, or portraits of your parents, my team and I work to translate those memories into fine-line art. We don't just copy designs; we sketch out concepts that reflect your specific journey.

The Portrait Process

We start by understanding the composition you want—whether that’s on the palm, the back of the hand, or extending up to the mid-arm. For portraiture, I personally lead the work or assign my top-tier specialist. We use high-definition shading techniques to ensure the faces look realistic and clear once the stain darkens.

Why Choose Our Organic Approach

Because portrait designs cover a large surface area and take significant time to apply, the quality of the henna is non-negotiable. I use my own organic, chemical-free paste mixed with essential oils. This ensures that even with the long application time, your skin remains comfortable and free from irritation. After the application, we use a lemon-sugar sealant and clove smoke to lock in the color, giving you that rich, dark stain that lasts through your wedding events.

Planning Your Service

We cover the entire Mumbai Metropolitan Area and provide home service at no extra cost. For portrait packages, we simply ask that you provide a comfortable space with good lighting so we can focus on the intricate shading required for your design. If you are ever unsure about the placement or the size, we can do a quick sketch or chat through the logistics during your free trial.
