A home should do more than look good; it should hold your history. I focus on weaving personal narratives into your living space, whether we are restoring a heritage bungalow or refreshing your apartment with pieces you already love.

For the Bhanushali family residence, we transformed the building's lift lobby into a personal foyer. By painting over existing panels and reusing refurbished art and furniture from their previous home, we created a welcome that is both fresh and filled with familiar, personal history.

The entrance to the Bhanushali home sets a welcoming tone with a bold blue door and custom brass handle. We paired it with a simple console and an ornate mirror, reusing beloved pieces to ensure the new space felt immediately like their own.

A feature in Architectural Digest on Dhvani Bhanushali's family home, located on the 76th floor of a Mumbai skyrise. The brief was to create a calm, fuss-free safe haven that reflected her journey as an artist, a space of understated luxury that feels like a true retreat.

About Residential Sanctuaries: Homes with History

When I approach a residential project, I rarely suggest starting from scratch. Instead, we look closely at what you already own—the heirlooms, the old furniture, the items that have traveled with you. At the Bhanushali residence, we transformed the building's lift lobby into a warm foyer simply by repainting the existing veneer panels and placing familiar art. It is often not about buying new things, but about finding a new way to appreciate the pieces that already ground you.
