Awards, Features, and Moments That Define My Design Journey
Beyond the blueprints and marble, these are the moments that shape my craft—from annual recognition by Architectural Digest to the quiet, personal milestones that remind me why I design.
Feeling grateful to be included in the AD100 list from 2018 to 2025. This award is a small reminder of why I love what I do, even on the toughest days. A big thank you to my rock-solid team and to Architectural Digest India for this honor.
Being featured on the AD100 list for the 8th year in a row feels truly surreal. This recognition is a celebration of the countless hours and unwavering passion my team and I pour into each project. Here’s to the art of design and always dreaming bigger.
A snippet from my AD100 feature, where I discuss my design philosophy: "Design should be authentic to the user and reflect the journey of the designer. I believe in preserving the old and adapting it to suit modern-day needs."
It was a joy to create this "Artboard" episode for Architectural Digest, inspired by my travels in India. I chose to focus on Nathdwara and its crafts, showcasing how the culture, history, and artistry of Rajasthan constantly inspire my work.
A short clip from my AD Artboard episode, where I talk about how colors relate to emotions. It features a glimpse of the red temple project, where we used color to create a space that feels both bold and deeply meditative.
Even for my own wedding, I couldn't resist being hands-on. This video shows me decorating our venue, my husband's family home, with simple, eco-friendly decor. There is something so special about making a celebration personal, raw, and unique.
About In The Press & Personal Milestones
Being on the AD100 list for eight years is not just about the recognition. It is a checkpoint that tells me my team and I are pushing the right boundaries, keeping heritage alive in modern homes. When I look back at these features, from discussing the intricate Pichwai craft to setting up my own wedding decor, I see the same thread. Design should be honest, human, and personal.
The AD100 recognition represents consistency. Over the last eight years, it has served as a mirror for my practice, reflecting the evolution of how we balance classical charm with contemporary functionality. But features and awards are only half the story. The real work happens in the bylanes of Nathdwara sourcing art, or on-site, guiding a karigar to perfect a hand-painted mural.
My work on platforms like Architectural Digest is an extension of what I bring to every client project. Whether we are stripping back walls in a heritage bungalow or designing a new vanity van, the philosophy remains constant. I treat every space like a living story.
You might wonder why I share my wedding decor in a portfolio of professional work. It is because I believe you cannot design for others if you do not practice the same intimacy in your own life. My wedding was simple and raw, using eco-friendly decor and flowers from the garden. It is that same 'make it yours' attitude I bring to your home. If you want a space that feels lived-in, respected, and deeply yours, that is where we should begin our conversation.
