In the 'Wedged Haus' project, we utilized Nero metal to create an installation that flows directly into the bedside furniture, blurring the line between a lamp and a table. This is not merely about illumination. It is about defining the atmosphere through material contrast and shadow play. We work with high CRI LED modules and CNC-machined metals to ensure that our fixtures perform with technical precision while maintaining a sculptural form. For large volumes, like those in the 'Vaulted Haus', we design lighting to hold the space together, using scale and material finish to ground the monochromatic palette. Our approach involves rigorous 3D form development to resolve complex geometries, ensuring each piece is fully integrated into the architecture. Whether it involves recessed aluminum profiles, kinetic mechanical parts, or tensioned rope systems, the result is a fixture that feels inherent to the house.
