Live Caricatures: Fun and Unique Entertainment
I sketch live, hilarious caricatures that give your guests a souvenir they will actually keep. Perfect for weddings, corporate events, and parties in Mumbai.
Drawing live at a corporate event for Siemens. It's always fun to exaggerate features like these bold glasses to create a memorable and funny portrait that brings a smile to everyone's face.
This is the final reveal. The client is holding up his finished caricature, which exaggerates his features in a fun, cartoonish style. This is the kind of unique artwork you can take home from one of my live sessions.
While drawing this lady, I learned her dream is to own a BMW, so I had to include it in the art. I love adding personal touches like this to make each caricature a unique story about the person.
I drew this lovely couple during one of my live sessions at a mall. Capturing two people at once is a fun challenge, and it's a great way for couples to get a unique memento of their day out.
A quick time-lapse of a live caricature drawing. You can see how the portrait comes together in just a few minutes, from a blank page to a fully shaded and coloured piece of art.
It was a pleasure to draw this graceful lady in her beautiful saree. My goal is always to capture the subject's personality and essence, making sure the final caricature is a respectful and fun representation.
This guest had such wonderful, curly hair and a great smile. It's features like these that are a joy to draw and exaggerate in a caricature. I use Copic markers to get that smooth shading effect on the hair.
Drawing a live portrait of a guest at one of my mall events. Even with all the activity around, I focus on capturing her likeness and expression to create a special piece just for her.
This time-lapse shows me drawing a young woman with glasses. I always make sure to get the details right, like the style of the frames, as they are a key part of a person's look.
I really enjoyed drawing this woman's expressive eyes and curly hair. Using different marker strokes helps me create texture and depth, bringing the caricature to life right before your eyes.
About Live Caricatures: Fun at Any Event
I don't just sketch faces. I capture the little things that make a person unique—the way someone laughs, their favourite glasses, or a dream they have. Whether it is your uncle’s obsession with his vintage bike or a guest’s stylish haircut, I add those personal touches that make people smile and say, 'That is totally me!' It only takes me 5 to 7 minutes to draw a person, so I can keep a large crowd entertained without anyone waiting too long.
Why Live Caricatures Make Events Special
There is something magical about watching a blank page turn into a drawing in minutes. When you hire me for your event, you are not just getting an artist; you are getting an interactive experience.
Guests love the process. They get to sit for a few minutes, chat, and then take home a high-quality, hand-drawn souvenir. Unlike generic party favours, a caricature is personal, funny, and lasts a lifetime.
My Process & Materials
I treat every drawing as a piece of art.
- Archival Quality: I use premium archival paper and professional-grade Copic markers. This means the colours stay vibrant and the paper does not yellow over time.
- Custom Details: I love it when guests give me a theme. Want to be drawn as a superhero, or maybe in a BMW? Just ask. I can even add your company logo to the prints for corporate branding.
- Framing: If you want to make it an extra special gift for your guests, I offer high-quality frames as an add-on.
Where I Work
Based out of my studio in Malad West, right next to Merwans Bakery, I travel across Mumbai for events. Whether it is a wedding in Bandra, a corporate office party in Powai, or a birthday in South Mumbai, I am ready to sketch.
If you have an event coming up and want to add some laughter and art to the mix, drop me a message. Let’s talk about your guest count and how we can make your day memorable.
Denzil
I am Denzil, and I run India’s first dedicated caricature studio right here in Malad. Art pulled me out of a really tough phase years ago, and now, my goal is simple: I want to share that joy with you. Seeing a guest’s face light up when they see their caricature is the reason I do this.
