About The Path to Black Belt: Gradings & Promotions
At my academy, a belt exam is not a formality. It is a genuine test where I watch every movement to see if the student has put in the real sweat required to advance. We do not just hand out belts; we make sure that when a student wears their new color, they have truly earned it.
My approach to Taekwondo is simple: Virasat mein mehanat milee hain (We have inherited hard work). Whether it is a white belt starting their first day or an intermediate student aiming for their blue belt, the process remains the same. We focus on Poomsae accuracy, sparring intensity, and strict physical conditioning.
During our promotion ceremonies, I look for technical precision and, more importantly, the fighting spirit. Gradings are held regularly, but only when I am confident that the student is ready to hold that rank with pride. We train at Tughlakabad Extension, and I personally oversee every belt test to ensure compliance with our standards. If you are serious about learning and putting in the work, you will grow here.
