These are not generic store-bought heels. We went through three years of factory trials to land on this specific design because beginners kept asking for shoes that wouldn't slip during spins. Since these have a chrome suede sole, they are strictly for indoor studio use only, as walking on Delhi streets will wear the sole out instantly. Salsa is a language, but it is hard to speak it fluently if you are fighting with uncomfortable footwear. We designed these Spinza T-strap heels to solve the one problem every student faces in their first few months: foot fatigue and instability.
The 2.5-inch flared heel is not just for show. It provides a wider base than a stiletto, giving you the balance you need for your first basic steps and turn patterns. The T-strap locks your foot in, meaning no sliding around when you start picking up the tempo. We opted for a synthetic microfiber suede upper because it offers the perfect balance of flexibility for toe-pointing and durability for intense practice.
