About Model Portfolio Development
A professional portfolio is more than just a collection of images. During your shoot, I provide on-set coaching on posing, expressions, and angles to ensure you have a mix of commercial and editorial looks that casting directors actually want to see. You receive high-quality retouched selects, raw file access, and a custom composite card design, giving you the tools to approach agencies with confidence.
When you book a portfolio session at my studio, we focus on creating images that serve a specific purpose: getting you booked. Whether you are a fresher looking for your first set of headshots or an experienced model needing a refresh, the process is streamlined and result-oriented.
The Shoot Process
We begin by defining the looks you need. A balanced portfolio includes 4 to 5 distinct changes—Western, ethnic, corporate, and high-fashion. This variety demonstrates your range to clients. I include professional hair and makeup styling so you can focus entirely on working with the camera. I utilize a professional studio setup with high-key lighting, ensuring we capture clean, sharp images that meet the technical requirements for online casting platforms.
What You Walk Away With
- Industry Standards: You get 15 to 20 magazine-quality retouched images tailored for your comp card.
- Essential Deliverables: Beyond photos, I provide a professional composite card (Z-Card) design and a short introduction video, which is increasingly mandatory for online casting.
- Ownership: I provide access to all raw files from your session. You own your data.
- Talent Database: All models who shoot with me are added to my internal talent roster. If your look matches a brand campaign I am casting for, you are already in the system for future commercial work.
We keep the studio atmosphere professional but collaborative. If you are nervous, do not worry; I walk you through every angle, helping you develop the confidence to work in front of the lens. My studio is in Rohini, but I serve models across the Delhi NCR region.
