When we shoot for your portfolio, we aren't just rattling off poses. I guide the session based on what you need to show casting directors or brands. Whether you need a clean, natural look for a fresh face card or something edgier to show you can handle high-fashion, I adjust the lighting and direction accordingly. It is about building a narrative for every frame so your book feels like a story, not a list of images.
A great model portfolio is not about having fifty different photos. It is about having five distinct, powerful images that show you can adapt. I focus on creating a mix of clean beauty headshots, full-length fashion shots, and editorial poses that grab attention.
We start with a consultation to identify your strengths. Are you the 'clean and commercial' look or the 'editorial and edgy' model? We plan the lighting and wardrobe around that. I use a mix of hard, cinematic lighting for drama and soft, even lighting to keep the focus purely on your features.
Since these shoots are a team effort, I bring in stylists and makeup artists who understand the industry standard. This ensures the polish is professional from the start, so you spend less time in post-production and more time sending your book to agencies. Whether we are shooting in a studio in Delhi or on location, the goal remains the same: capturing that 'in aankhon ki masti ke' (the magic in the eyes) that makes a casting director pause.
