I transform your favorite wedding and family photographs into timeless, hand-painted oil portraits. Every stroke on the canvas is a piece of therapy for me, designed to capture the emotion and intricate details of your most cherished memories. ✨

This is a commissioned dual portrait of an older couple, painted with oil on a canvas board. I aimed to capture their warmth and lifelong bond through their gentle expressions and the soft lighting.

This process video shows me painting the bride's joyful expression and her intricate wedding jewelry. I use a grid method for accuracy and build up the colors in layers to achieve a realistic and vibrant look.

A time lapse of me painting the bride's face for a wedding portrait. You can see how I start with the basic shapes and gradually add details like the smile, the nose ring, and the maang tikka.

This video shows the initial stages of the couple's portrait, starting from the pencil sketch on the canvas. I begin by blocking in the faces and hair, establishing the foundation for the detailed layers to come.

A work in progress shot of a family portrait featuring a father and his baby. This piece is about capturing a tender moment, and here you can see the early stages of rendering their faces and the baby's clothing.

About Wedding & Family Portraits

Because I work with traditional oil paints, my process relies on slow, careful layering. This means creating your portrait isn't a quick print job; it takes about 4 to 6 weeks for the painting to be layered, detailed, and properly cured. If you are planning this as a surprise gift for an anniversary or wedding, please reach out well in advance so I can give your piece the time it truly needs.
