Custom Spiritual and Divine Oil Paintings
Bring home a piece of serenity. I create hand-painted oil portraits of your favorite deities, focusing on calm, realistic expressions and vibrant details that make each piece feel alive.
Here I am holding my finished Buddha painting on a round canvas. The artwork features warm, glowing tones of red, orange, and yellow to create a feeling of peace and serenity.
A video revealing a custom oil painting of Lord Krishna. The piece is first shown through a sheer floral dupatta before being fully revealed, highlighting the vibrant colors of his turban and the gentle expression on his face.
This process video shows how the Buddha painting was created. I started with a simple sketch and then built up the face with layers of red and orange oil paint, blending the colors to create a smooth, radiant gradient.
A time lapse of me painting the Krishna portrait in my studio. You can see me working on the details of the face and the colorful turban, with my palette and reference image nearby.
This video shows the initial stages of the Ganesha painting on a round canvas. I begin by painting the face with bright yellow and orange hues, carefully outlining the features with a fine brush.
About Spiritual & Divine Art
When I paint these divine figures, I do not just focus on the image. I use a multi-layered oil technique on canvas to create depth, often adding textures with Kundan stones or beads to make jewelry and attire pop. Because oil paint needs time to cure properly, I ensure every piece is perfectly varnished for longevity before it reaches your hands.
Painting deities like Krishna, Ganesha, or Buddha has become my quiet meditation. Unlike quick sketches, oil on canvas requires patience. I start with a grid sketch for perfect proportions, then layer colors slowly, allowing them to dry and blend. This build-up creates that soft, luminous glow you see on the face of a Buddha or the gentle expression of Krishna.
For pieces featuring Ganesha or Krishna, I love working on round canvases. It adds a modern, artistic twist to traditional subjects. I also offer custom embellishments, using real Kundan stones and beads to highlight jewelry or crowns, giving the painting a 3D tactile quality.
Whether you want a small 10-inch round canvas for your puja room or a square canvas for your living area, I handle the finish with a high-gloss, humidity-resistant varnish to protect against the climate. Please keep in mind that I need 2 to 3 weeks to complete these because good oil work simply cannot be rushed. It is all about the details, from the vibrant hues in a turban to the peaceful warmth in the eyes.
