I bring festivals to life with vibrant backdrops, traditional jhulas, and colourful accents that make your home celebrations truly special.
To bring a festive and colorful Rajasthani vibe to an event, I created this unique photo corner. An arch of vibrant, embroidered umbrellas provides a joyful and memorable backdrop for any celebration.
A decorated jhula, or swing, adds a playful and traditional element to festivals like Teej. I adorned this swing with bright yellow marigold garlands and colorful Rajasthani umbrellas for a fun and festive touch.
This backdrop was designed specifically for a Teej festival celebration. It features colorful drapes, hanging crafts, and the words 'Teej' and 'Sawan' written out with flowers on green panels.
This is a vibrant backdrop perfect for a Haldi or Mehendi ceremony. I layered colorful drapes in green, yellow, and red, and added details like flower garlands and small Rajasthani umbrellas for a festive look.
About Festive Celebrations: Themed Decor
When you are planning a setup with a traditional jhula or a larger theme, keep in mind that I typically need about 10 feet of width to do it justice. I always ask for a quick video of your space or a few photos before we finalize the booking, just so we can be sure the layout works perfectly without crowding your living room or blocking pathways.
Festivals like Teej, Chhathi, or even a Haldi ceremony are about the details, and that is where my work usually starts. I focus on bringing the festive vibe indoors without turning your home into a construction site.
My Approach to Festive Decor
- Zero-Damage Setup: I know how important it is to keep your walls safe, especially in rented apartments in Bengaluru. My frames are freestanding, and I use non-marking tape and zip-ties for all floral and fabric attachments.
- Traditional Elements: Whether it is a string of fresh marigolds, banana leaf panels, or those vibrant Rajasthani embroidered umbrellas, I source these based on your specific festival requirements to keep the look authentic.
- Custom Backdrops: I design these to match your style. We can go for rich, deep drapes for a grander look or soft pastels if you want something minimal and peaceful for a pooja.
What to Expect
Once we agree on the theme, my 3-person team handles everything. We bring the structures, the props, and the fresh flowers a few hours before your event begins. I personally handle the final styling to ensure the fresh garlands look lush and the fabric drapes fall exactly the right way. After the event, we handle the teardown and cleanup, so you are not left with a mess to clear up once the guests have left.
