Lakeside and Garden Wedding Decor
Nature provides the best backdrop, so I focus on details that frame the view rather than hiding it.

About this collection
When I style a lakeside or garden event, I do not treat the landscape as just a background. I treat it as a partner. I use materials like mirror-top tables to catch the changing colors of the sunset, and floral arrangements that mimic the surrounding greenery rather than clashing with it. If you have a specific time of day for your vows, I tailor the lighting and structure placement to ensure the sun hits the altar exactly when you need it to, creating a visual that feels entirely organic.
Designing for outdoor venues in Bangalore requires more than just picking pretty flowers. It is about understanding the environment and working with it.
Designing with Light
One of the biggest variables in outdoor weddings is the light. As the sun sets, the mood changes, and your decor needs to adapt. For lakeside receptions, I often incorporate reflective surfaces like mirror-top tables. These catch the shifting sky and water colors, adding a glow to your dining area without relying on harsh artificial spotlights.
Choosing Structures Wisely
I prefer structures that frame the landscape instead of blocking it. For a recent project at a lakeside venue, we designed a church-inspired archway. The goal was to provide a solid focal point for the ceremony that felt grand yet delicate enough to let the sunset shine through the open panes.
Practical Comfort
While beauty is the goal, comfort is the foundation. Outdoor weddings often involve uneven ground or soft soil. We frequently use custom printed flooring or raised platforms to ensure guests can walk comfortably, especially if they are wearing heels. We also look at the wind patterns for open terraces or lawns to ensure your drapes and installations stay securely in place throughout the evening.
If you have a venue in mind, tell me about the space. I would love to hear what draws you to it so we can plan the decor to highlight its natural charm.
Decor By Samantha
I'm Samantha, and I love working with nature to bring outdoor weddings to life. I do not believe in covering up a beautiful garden or lake with heavy props; instead, I find ways to highlight the view while adding those personal, story-driven details that make the day yours.
