- Door Toran: One 3-4 ft wide fresh floral toran for the main door frame.
- Composition: Alternating strings of yellow/orange Marigolds (Genda) and white Tuberoses (Rajnigandha) or Shevanti.
- Detailing: Includes floral tassels (latkans) or lotus buds at the corners.
- Floor Rangoli: One 2x2 ft floral rangoli created using loose rose and marigold petals in a circular or Swastik design.
Puja Backdrop
- Green Wall: One artificial green grass backdrop stand (approx. 6ft x 6ft or 8ft x 8ft).
- Floral Overlay: Scalloped draping of fresh marigold garlands across the green backdrop.
- Side Accents: Two vertical heavy floral strings hanging on either side of the backdrop frame.
Logistics
- Duration: Setup takes approximately 2-3 hours.
- Freshness: Flowers are sourced fresh on the morning of the event.

Traditional or Modern - Your Call
If you want that proper Gruhpravesh flower decor, I’m all in. I use loads of fresh genda phool and rajnigandha, floral rangolis, and set up the puja spot so it stands out. For folks who want something more Pinterest-y, I do balloon arch housewarming setups, custom welcome home signs, and fairy lights everywhere. Sometimes people want a mix - like a rangoli at the door and balloons inside. I’m cool with that too.
Special Touches for Couples
If you’re newly married and moving in together, I can add some romantic couple welcome decor. Stuff like photo displays, rose petals, and little details that make it feel personal. I really enjoy making these setups extra cute.
