When you walk into these sessions, leave your 'I cannot dance' attitude at the door. I structure these movement workshops to be zero-pressure, whether we are doing Garba, a saree-clad dance session, or a quick desk-job stretch. The music is loud, the room is warm, and we mostly just laugh our way through the steps until they actually start looking like a routine.
My philosophy is simple: movement is medicine. Whether you are a corporate professional dealing with a stiff neck from long hours at the desk or someone just looking for a space to reconnect with their body, these workshops provide an escape. I host these sessions at my studio in Sector 45, Gurugram, and they are designed to be accessible for every fitness level.
Garba and Festive Workshops: We turn traditional moves into a party. It is high energy and focuses on community vibes rather than technical perfection.
Wellness and Stretching: We focus on functional movement. If you sit in a chair for nine hours, we will fix those shoulders and hips with curated stretching sequences.
Dance Fitness: Think Bollywood beats and easy-to-follow choreography. You will sweat, but you will also leave feeling lighter.
The environment is key. I keep the group sizes manageable so everyone gets attention. You do not need to be a dancer to join, you just need to show up. We often use props, comfortable ethnic wear, or whatever makes you feel most like yourself. If you are worried about the steps, do not be. My team breaks everything down into bite-sized pieces that anyone can pick up in minutes.
