The Custom Tailoring Process: How We Make Your Outfit
We do not believe in standard sizes. Here is how we turn your choice of fabric into a garment that fits you perfectly. 👖
The core of my service is true custom tailoring. Every garment begins with precise measurements and a pattern cut just for you, ensuring a fit that is far superior to any ready-made option.
About The Custom Tailoring Process
It starts with your vision and our scissors. We take your exact measurements and draft a fresh pattern for every piece, whether it is a crisp shirt or a structured sherwani. No ready-made templates here. We cut the fabric to fit your body, not the hanger. ✂️
Getting a garment made from scratch is different from buying off the rack. It is a collaborative process where you control the final look.
Step 1: Fabric Selection. You come to our store in Greater Noida and touch the materials. From pure Japanese denim to intricate brocades and Chikankari, you pick the base. We only stock pure fabrics because they drape better and last longer.
Step 2: Measurement and Patterning. We take detailed measurements. If you are getting a structured piece like a sherwani or an Indo-Western set, we build a canvas chest piece for the right silhouette.
Step 3: Construction and Trials. For complex outfits, we do a kacha, or basted, fit trial. This allows us to adjust the length, the shoulders, and the taper before the final stitch. You see the shape, we pin it, and then we finish it.
Step 4: The Details. Buttons, inner linings, and embroidery. You choose if you want a paisley print inside your Nehru jacket or antique metallic buttons on your Jodhpuri suit. We will work with you until the fit is right. It takes patience to get a true custom fit, but the result is a garment that feels like it was always meant for you. 🔥
