I don't rely on standard sizes. Every outfit, from a simple kurta to a structured Jodhpuri suit, starts with taking your exact measurements and letting you pick the fabric, lining, and buttons. This allows me to build garments like Nehru jackets with the right internal fusing so they maintain their shape without feeling stiff.
Choosing the right fabric is the first step in creating an outfit that lasts. I stock a range of materials, from breathable cottons and Chikankari for daily wear to heavy Jacquard, Brocade, and Japanese fabrics for structured ceremonial pieces. When you bring your ideas to the store, we discuss the design, cut, and finish. For complex garments like sherwanis or Indo-Western sets, I include a baste fit trial, which is an initial stitch to check the drape and length before the final finishing. This is where we adjust the shoulder padding, chest canvas, and waist seams to ensure the silhouette fits your body frame. Whether you want a specific paisley lining in your jacket or a unique color match for a trouser, the construction is entirely up to you. I handle the stitching personally to ensure the final product matches what we discussed.
