I use a heavy-duty base like premium velvet or reinforced canvas for every toran, so it hangs straight and does not sag against your door. I also sew sturdy D-rings on the back, meaning you can mount them easily without needing extra tape or messy adhesives.
When I design a bandhanwar, I focus on the hustle, the behind-the-scenes details that keep a piece looking festive for years, not just one season. Whether it is a 3D Pichwai cow motif or traditional Zardosi work, I ensure the embellishments are securely attached so they stay put when you open and close your door. Most of my designs include a storage cover or box, which is a lifesaver for keeping your decor clean during the off-season.
